   Arrival in BaghdadMeet and greet at Baghdad airport, private transfer and check-in. Short evening tour, depending on arrival time. Overnight in Baghdad.

   Baghdad: ancient heritage & modern lifeZiggurat of Aqar Quf, Tahrir Square and the Freedom Monument, Al-Mansour district, and the Shrine of Imam Musa Al-Kadhim in Kadhimiya. Overnight in Baghdad.
3. 12 Jan
   Babylon & KufaAncient Babylon, the former palace overlooking it, the Ziggurat of Borsippa and the Great Mosque of Kufa. Overnight in Najaf.
4. 13 Jan
   Najaf & KarbalaShrine of Imam Ali, Wadi Al-Salam Cemetery, Shrine of Imam Hussein and Shrine of Al-Abbas. Overnight in Karbala or Najaf.
5. 14 Jan
   Uruk, Ur & NasiriyahAncient Uruk, the Great Ziggurat of Ur and an evening walk in Nasiriyah. Overnight in Nasiriyah.
6. 15 Jan
   The Mesopotamian MarshesBoat ride through the Chibayish marshes, masgouf fish lunch and a reed house visit, then back to Baghdad.
7. 16 Jan
   Samarra, Ashur, Hatra & MosulAl-Malwiya and Al-Ashiq Palace, then Ashur and Hatra on the way to Mosul. A long driving day.
8. 17 Jan
   Nimrud, Mar Behnam & historic MosulNimrud, Mar Behnam Monastery, Old Mosul, Bytna, Al-Hadba, Bab Al-Saray market and the Nineveh walls. Overnight in Mosul.
9. 18 Jan
   Lalish, Khinnis & AlqoshLalish temple, the Khinnis reliefs and Rabban Hormizd Monastery near Alqosh, then on to Erbil.
10. 19 Jan
    Erbil & departureQaysari Bazaar and the Erbil Citadel, then transfer to Erbil International Airport.
